Wagging Tail Pet Sitting is a “one-woman show” with Carolynne Born as proprietor. A life-long animal lover, Carolynne began Wagging Tail after attending, “The Pet Sitting University,” in San Diego, and is a proud member of Pet Sitters International, with training in pet first aid. Insured and bonded, Carolynne is fully qualified to care for your pets of all persuasions (snakes notwithstanding!).
She shares pet sitting on occasion with her husband, Ken Gurley, who works side by side with her and is covered by her insurance and bond. A former banker and professional personal chef, Ken is now retired and active in gardening and planning vacations for the couple. The family is completed by their senior Labrador mix, Rocky, their steadfast companion and beloved family pet. Rocky enjoys his daily walks and, weather permitting, can be seen sunning himself on the backyard deck!
Not to be outdone is their notorious feline, “Blue Eyes,” a feral who “adopted” the Born-Gurley family and moved into the garage a few years ago. She is the established guardian of the back yard, escorting Ken on his daily gardening rounds and keeping the property clear of mice and other intruders!
